In June 2023, Bluecastle Capital, on behalf of its investors, unconditionally purchased a commercial retail building in one of the last remaining parts of the Stevenage Masterplan. The Bluecastle team is currently going through the various planning stages in order to convert the building into a new Built to Rent development.

Stevenage, located 27 miles north of central London with a population of 90,000, is set to host one of Europe's largest life science campuses, establishing itself as a leading hub for advanced therapies. The town is currently undergoing a £1 billion regeneration initiative aimed at transforming the town centre into a blend of high-quality residential areas and an employment quarter expected to create 1,850 jobs. These development efforts aim to enhance Stevenage's status as a key urban centre in Hertfordshire, bolstering its economic, residential, and social dynamics.
